Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer at Devon in the Netherlands, you design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for various clients, ensuring high availability and security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, leveraging services provided by major cloud providers such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications, ensuring that they are highly available, scalable, and performant.
• Collaborate with software development teams to design, build, and deploy applications on the cloud.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, identifying and resolving any performance or security issues that arise.
• Implement automation techniques to enable quick and easy provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure to ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to cloud infrastructure and architecture to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

• Bachelors or Master degree.
• 3+ Years experience as a cloud engineer or a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in cloud automation tools and infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
• Full fluency in Dutch is required.
