As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for the complete testing environment. Currently this is the responsibility of the software developers but because they are expanding their workfield to many different countries worldwide, there is a need for a dedicated software tester who can deal with the complete process. It's your task to write testplans, to determine the strategy, to write test scripts and to execute them as well.
The applications are based on Java software and it is considered a big plus if you have any experience within a Java environment, for instance with scripting. At the moment, the applications are being tested manually. In the future, if it's considered more effective, the company wants to implement test automation as well. However, this is up to you. They expect you, as an experienced test engineer, to advise them in this process.
The ideal candidate has the following profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree in the field of IT is considered a big plus
- At least two years of experience as a Test Engineer
- Preferably work experience as a Test Engineer in a Dutch/European company
- Knowledge of / experience with Java
- Able to work from their office in Nijmegen
- Both able to work independently and in a team
- Mastering of the English is required, Dutch language is considered a big plus
